Silverado Resort & Spa North Course 2022

After some late cancellations and last minute additions, we had 35 players for our monthly tournament, at Silverado North on April 11th.

The wind was howling.  In the low 20 mph range.

The greens were fast and sloped.  Touch a short putt slightly too fast and it wouldn’t break enough, miss on the high side and roll out.  Touch a short putt slightly too slow and it would break below the hole.

Only Sal Lim played to his handicap.

Mostly, the best golfers shot the best scores.  Duh.

The round wasn’t fast.  In part, due to the time it took around the greens.

The included on-course lunch of the famous burger dog lived up to expectations and the hype, but only left me wanting more.

Next month we play at Richmond C.C. on May 19th.  We have an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start with lunch following the round.  Limited to 28 players, registration opens tomorrow.

Winners at Silverado North.  Points refer to Art Bridgett season-long points race.
