Yocha De-He

Maybe most don't realize that Lawyers & Judges Golf Association usually starts its season in March, and it typically runs through October. A few years ago we added a November event. This year, we learned of a good rate available to us at Yocha De-He at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, California, for March, so we grabbed up the minimum 20 tee times. It proved more popular than we anticipated and the 20 tee times filled, with remaining demand, so we added another foursome which filled with the waitlisted golfers. After a couple of late cancellations and 1 replacement player we had a field of 23 for a beautiful, southern California-like weather day. We had sequential tee times starting on hole number 10. We played the white tees, and as the scores below demonstrate, even the white tees challenged the good golfers. We've heard requests for shorter tees for some and we are looking into a choose your tee option upon registration. The course was resort-like, a cart-path that meander through-out, plenty of water and bunkers, holes that dog-legged left and some that dog-legged right. There were long par 4s and a drivable par 4 for longer hitters. The greens were soft but not slow, and the bunkers were in good shape, for the most part. Everyone enjoyed the course.

Your L & J winners are below. We were able to add a skins game as included in the entry fee. This is the first time we've had a skins game, with 23 players and $10 skin a person, we had 3 skins split the $230 pot, each skin taking home $76. All winnings will be in Golf Mart gift cards. Keep an eye out for an email from Worldwide Golf.
